Successful first week of the Better Hands campaign

Since launching on August 19th, the Australia's Nurses and Midwives You Couldn't Be In Better Hands campaign has already received huge support with nearly 1,500 people signing up to show their support for nurses and midwives. Large numbers of supporters come from NSW, Victoria and Queensland.

This support is invaluable as the campaign continues with the aim to ensure safe patient care for every member of the Australian community, wherever and whenever it is needed, and to raise awareness of the critical role of nurses and midwives play in all our lives.

Campaign ads have gone to air on TV, radio and in cinemas across Australia to showcase the amazing work that nurses and midwives do every day and night throughout our health and aged care systems.

More than 5,000 people have downloaded our ads by visiting the ANF website over the past week.
